Statement of Qualifications – Andrea A. Russell, Ph.D.
Dr. Russell has been in private practice in Tucson since 1989. In a career span of over thirty years, she has:
Ï Completed over 500 educational, vocational, psychological and behavioral assessments under a contract with a State agency since 1999.
Ï Developed and presented more than 70 training and therapy groups, lasting from six to twelve weeks; topics include group facilitation, assertiveness, boundaries, procrastination, inner child, communication skills, anger management, anxiety and panic disorder, eating disorders, painful memories, and relationship skills.
Ï Served an on-going caseload of about thirty individuals, couples and families who are referred by pastors, priests, physicians and other clients. Diagnoses in this population range from adjustment to living situations, mood disorders, vocational stress, anxiety disorders, and posttraumatic stress, to seriously mentally ill.
Ï Treated sexual abuse victims and families members.
Ï Coached clients for improved work performance and work relationships.
Ï Provided individual psychotherapy and group counseling services to DDD clients who suffer from seizure disorders since October 1992.
Ï Co-founded Cornerstone Christian Counseling, a non-profit 503(c)(3) corporation.
Ï Over ten years experience in program and project evaluation with municipalities. Delivered reports and evaluations to City Councils, Planning Commissions, Boards of Commissioners.

Master of Arts Degree: Administration of Justice, Minor in Counseling - Chapman College, Orange, CA.
Bachelor of Science Degree: Business Administration, Minor in Human Resources Management - California State University - Long Beach, CA.
Continuing Education: Most recent classes at the University of Arizona: Theoretical and Computational Neuroscience, Neuropsychology, Cognitive Psychology, Assessing for Learning Disorders.
